Week 2 Is Almost Over

We got our second challenge for week two, scrap something featuring the letter G and the word Goal. I know they meant to scrap about your personal goals, but that wasn't specifically mentioned, and personally that's not my scrapping style. So I decided to stretch the theme a little bit. lol That's me, always bucking authority. The kit is Starlight by Jenny's Scrap Place and the font is Bend It.

Challenge #3 - A Fairy Tale

They posted the latest challenge really early yesterday, and I was able to jump right on it. In spite of my little Benedryl problem (long story, but it's on my blog if you want to read it), I managed to get it finished before I went to bed. I just didn't have the energy to actually upload it anywhere, until now. The kit is Lazy Autumn Dayz by Scrapz by Mz. Cora. The font is Freehand Script.

The Pumpkin Patch

Once upon a time a little girl named Caitlyn lived with her mom and dad, her brothers and sister, in a Southern land ruled by a giant mouse [note: I kill myself sometimes, lol]. One day Mommy drove them to a place with strange orange things all over the ground. Mommy sat her down in the middle of some scratchy stuff, so she tried to walk away, only to be put back. Finally she did "cheese" so Mommy would leave her alone.

After that they walked around the orange things. Caty noticed some where small enough to pick up. She stooped to get one, then another, then one more.

"Caitlyn, don't throw the pumpkins on the ground!"

Caty was upset. The naughty pumpkins were jumping out of her arms. She wasn't throwing them.

Finally Mommy found the "perfect" pumpkins and put them on top of the microwave when they got home to "keep them safe." But Caitlyn had other ideas. She didn't know when or how, but she was going to get those big orange balls one day soon.

The End

(for now)

I can't wait to see our fourth challenge on Sunday. Thanks to KB & Friends for hosting this leg of the race and their beautiful participation gift.

Here's My First Challenge for ADSR2

Is that my template, Chelsea? lol I didn't even recognize it. She made it look much better than the template, I think. Still, if anyone wants it, it's available on my blog for free. And if you scroll down to here, there's another one too. But enough self promotion. Here's my LO for the first challenge of the ADSR2 - Museums. I think it's funny that Chelsea and I used the same kit. We didn't even plan it that way. rofl
The kit is Tuscany by Punky's Pixels. The font is Parade.
