Challenges 11 and 12

Nothing like putting things off until the last minute again. Here are my last two LOs for the ADSR2. I'm facing the end of the race with mixed feelings. Part of me is glad it's over, and the other part is going to be sad come Monday morning when I don't have a new challenge to do.
The kit for both is Grannie's Keepsakes by Punky's Pixels. The fonts are Bix Antique Script (#11), Helmsley & Matura MT Script (#12). The second one is a scraplift of Chelsea's challenge #4.

ADSR2 Challenge #9

So you want to know about my most embarrassing moment, do you? I remember it well. I was a million months pregnant with my last baby and in my last week of work. I felt big as a house, my ankles were swollen, and I had other gastric issues from the baby taking up all that room. One afternoon I got a call to go up to the VP’s office. I was too worn out to take the stairs, so I waited took the elevator. As I was waiting for the doors to open, I could feel an urge to pass gas, but I was able to hold it back. When the doors opened, I got into an empty elevator, thank God, and, as soon as the doors closed, I let it rip. It was loud, it echoed, and it didn’t smell all too pretty either. The doors opened on the second floor, and I started to walk out. For some reason, I turned as I exited, and standing in the corner was a man I hadn’t noticed.

ADSR2 Challenge #8

I finished just finished my eighth challenge. Week 4 is done, there's just 2 weeks left to the race. This time we needed to scrap about Girl Talk. My LO features a shower we threw for our best friend, Holly to celebrate her new boobs. Another friend scornfully called it a "celebration to vanity", but if you can't celebrate vanity with your best friends, they're not very good friends. The kit is Pour Me Another by Khristy Schmidt. I've been dying to use this one! The word art is by Rose Made Designs and the font is called James Fajardo.

ADSR2 Challenge #7

ADSR2 Challenge #7 was generously hosted by Blue Flombingo. Our challenge this time was to choose one paper and include at least 10 pictures. Then we had to send the LO to our partner to finish it up. The trick comes in if you don't have the same kit. Then, to protect copyright, you needed to send the flattened .jpg. Fortunately, Chelsea is also on Karie's CT and Karie so thoughtfully provided us with some new material to work with, so we both chose to use Southern Belle (available at Seaside Scraps). The font I used on Chelsea's layout is Blomster.

Challenge #6: Roadblock

Challenge #6, hosted by Elemental Scraps, was a Roadblock, meaning only one member could complete the task. I volunteered to do this one. We had to do a messy layout, which was really hard for me at first, with at least 15 elements, no more than two by the same designer. Well, once you stick 15 elements by different designers in there, things get messy all by themselves. I'm proud to say we have 17 elements from 13 designers, plus 1 element by me. Without further ado, here's the LO:

And here is the humungous list of credits:

Paper from Red Hot Hearts by Holli Hobbi

Frame from Color My World by Rhona Farrer

"Don't" - Punch Alphas by Leah Riordan

"You" alpha from Cherries Jubilee by Tracy Collins

"Hate" alpha and swirl from Simply Chic by Designs by Krista

"It?" alpha from Cherry Baby by Marie Stones

Arrow from Cool Boys, Sweet Girls by Mary's Scrapgalerie

Heart Pendant from Generations of Love by Mary's Scrapgalerie

Thought Bubble by me using preset shapes

Negative Strip (recolored) by Kari Quinto

"Be Honest" sticker and paper bag from Hillbilly Coverups 2 by Fantacy Bryant

Glasses by Monica Neaves

Here's Challenge #5

I finally completed my fifth challenge. Boy am I cutting it close this week! I signed up to do our Roadblock for Challenge #6, so guess what I need to finish tomorrow. What exactly is a messy LO?

Anyway, challenge #5 was generously hosted by Butternug Squash. Thanks girls! We needed to journal from the heart. Mine is a two page LO. Both pages are done with the new Punky's Pixels kit "Up, Up and Away" available at Seaside Scraps. The font in the first one is Bookworm; the font in the second is French Script.
